Does your iPhone have sync problems with your
Windows 7 computer?
This tip will help you increase your chances of solving the problem by
providing general guidance and links to authoritative sites.
The typical symptom is that the iPhone is recognized by the Windows 7
computer, but iTunes will fail to connect, reporting an "unknown
error" (usually with the error code 0xE8000065).
The first and simplest attempt to fix the problem is by disabling USB
power management as follows:
- In the Start menu, type
DEVMGMT.MSC (and press the Enter key) to display Device
Manager.
- Click View and select "Devices By Type".
- Expand the Universal
Serial Bus controllers section of the tree
- Right-click each USB Root
Hub entry, then select Properties.
- In Properties, select "Power Management and uncheck
"Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power".
- Restart your computer.
Did this solve the problem?
If this didn't solve the problem, check whether your computer's
mainboard is made by Gigabyte Technology. About 4 days ago, Gigabyte
released a BIOS update that fixes the problem. Read the following news
