The following is a list of the effects turned off by Software Candy's Windows Display Accelerator:

Drop Shadow	Shows shadow under menu
Flat Menu	Flat menu appearance for native User menus (own colors for the menubar background, the menu-popup background, the fill of the current menu selection, and  the outline of the current menu selection). If disabled, menus are drawn using the same metrics and colors as in Windows 2000.
Font Smoothing	Make font curves appear smoother by painting pixels at different gray levels.
Menu Fade	Menu fade animation. If disabled (and Menu Animation is not disable), menus use slide animation.
Combo Box Animation	Slide-open effect for combo boxes.
Drag Full Windows	Shows window content when dragging. If disabled, shows window frame only while dragging.
Selection Fade	Causes the menu item selected by the user to remain on the screen briefly while fading out after the menu is dismissed.
Menu Animation	Fade or Slide menu animation.
